It is likely to move Northwestwards and across West Bengal and adjoining areas of North Odisha and Jharkhand, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal . Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.8(M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles south-southeast of Mongla), latitude 21.59°N, longitude 100.08°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (38) miles northeast of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (15) hr (39) min (08) sec M.S.T on 3rd July, 2026.
