Flood Warning

(Issued at 08:00 hrs M.S.T on 29-8-2026)

According to the 06:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Shwegyin River at Shwegyin is observed as about 7 inches below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 36 hours.

According to the 06:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Bilin River at Bilin is observed as about 10 inches below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 36 hours.

It is especially alert to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Shwegyin and Bilin Townships, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
