Squalls are the precursors to a storm, or rather separate clouds that form in a series, and as the cloud base gradually descends, strong winds blow at a height of 1,000 to 1,500 feet from the ground, causing precipitation.
11.9.2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
