BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Eastcentral and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15^th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Nothern States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Chin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States.
