BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Yangon, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Chin, Norhtern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern)Shan States.
