It is likely to move Northwestwards and across North Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is storng over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bangel. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bangel.

According to the 12:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Hinthada is observed as more than 1 foot below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 2 days.
It is especially alert to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Hinthada Township, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
