It is likely to move Northwestwards and across North Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is storng over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bangel. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bangel.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 4.4 (M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (3) miles north of Thabeikkyin), latitude 22.92°N, longitude 95.97°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (35) miles southeast of Kanbalu seismological observatory was recorded at (03) hr (02) min (49) sec M.S.T on 7th August, 2026.
