Bay of Bengal situation

1. A low pressure areas may form over the Bay of Bengal. The southwest monsoon is likely to be moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain conditions and rainy days

2. Rainfall conditions are expected to be above normal in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Shan States, expected below normal in Kayin, Rakhine States and expected about normal in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Mon States.

3. Rainy days will be expected about (8-10) days in Naypyitaw, Yangon, East Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Tanintharyi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States and about (5-7)days in Mandalay, West Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State.
