BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago, Magway  Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan  States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 100%

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and  Kachin, Chin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States.
