BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal has moved Northwest wards. It is centered at about 505 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Kyaukpyu (Myanmar), 85 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Visakhapatnam and 75 Nautical miles South of Gopalpur, India. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South and North Bay of Bengal and cloudy over th Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah, Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw,  Kachin State, fairly widespread in Bago, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough sea will be experiencedoff and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Chin, Mon States.
