Well-Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

            According to the observations at 5:30 hrs MST today, the Land Depression has crossed West of NyaungU in Myanmar moved North-Northwestwards and weaken into a Well-marked Low Pressure Area. It is continue to move North-Northwestwards and persists East-Southeast of Matupi in Myanmar. It is likely to move North-Northwest and cross Chin, Myanmar, Southeast Bangladesh and Mizoram, India and weaken into Low Pressure Area.

It present state of Well-Marked Low Pressure Area is coded as brown stage, it is crossing West of NyaungU in Myanmar.

 

General caution

Due to the Well-Marked Low Pressure Area, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, States and scatted in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in NayPyiTaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States during this morning to 1-10-2026. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

People should be awared the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, Lightning strike, lightning, hails, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and peoples living in the Well-Marked Low Pressure Area crossing areas and to make necessary preparations for inland water transport, domestic flight and irrigation dams.
