BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to intensify into a Depression during next 18 hrs and move West- Northwestwards and intensify into a  Deep Depression on 25-10-2026 and may reached over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and intensify into a Cyclonic Storm on 26-10-2026.  It is likely to continue to move North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha coasts on 27-10-2026. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.  

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Lower sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States.
