COMPOUND :

PART ONE :According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today,the cyclonic storm (PHETHAI) over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. .It is centered at about within 1/2 degree of lat (11.3)N and lon 84.4E.

PART TWO : Weather is cloudy over theSouth west and West central Bay and partly cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E
WEATHER   :    Scattered rain or thundershowers.
VISIBILITY   :     (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.
SURFACE WIND : East or Northeast (10-15) kts at times (25 30)kts.
SEAS   :             Moderate to rough .
WAVE HEIGHT : (6-9) feet.

WEATHER   :        Isolated rain or thundershowers.
VISIBILITY   :    (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical in rain .

SEAS   :              Moderate to rough
WAVE HEIGHT   : (6-9) feet.
