PART ONE    : According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has been crossing to the ODISHA Coast near Puri(India). It is forecast to move North-Northeastwards.

PART TWO   : Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER    : Scattered rain or thundershowers.
VISIBILITY    : (4) nautical miles but less than (1) nautical mile in rain.
SURFACE WIND    : West or Northwest (15 - 20)kts at times (35-40)kts.
SEAS    : Rough.
