It is likely to move Northwestwards and across North Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is storng over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bangel. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bangel.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter (Bay of Bengal), latitude 19.89°N, longitude 90.99°E, depth (35)kilometers, about (125) miles west of Sittwe seismological observatory was recorded at (20)hr (48)min (31)sec M.S.T on 6th May, 2019.
