PART ONE          :According to the observations at (10:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal remained stationary and intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “Yaas”. It is centered at about within ½ degree of Lat (16.4)°N and Long (89.7)°E. It is forecast to move North-Northwestwards and intensify into a Severe Cyclonic Storm during next (24)hrs and Very Severe Cyclonic Storm during next (48)hrs.

PART TWO         :  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

WEATHER                      : Widespread rain or thundershowers with isolated heavyfalls.
