PART ONE          : According to the observations at (09:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northeastwards and intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “MIDHILI”. It is centered at about within half degree of Lat (20.3)°N and Long (88.7)°E.

PART TWO         : Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER                      : Scattered rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY                       : (4) nautical miles but (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND               : East or Northeast (5 - 10) kts at times (25)kts.

SEAS                             : Moderate.

WAVE HEIGHT                 : (5-8)ft.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 16.5°N –20.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER                      : Widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls.
