It is likely to move Northwestwards and across North Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is storng over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bangel. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bangel.

According to the 18:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Thaungyin River at Myawady has exceeded by about 1 inch above its danger level. It may rise about 2 feet during the next 1 day and may remain above its danger level.
It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Myawady Township, to take precaution measure.
