It is likely to move Northwestwards and across West Bengal and adjoining areas of North Odisha and Jharkhand, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal . Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about (6-8) feet at Hkamti and Homalin, and about (4-6) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa and Monywa.
