PART ONE : According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal off North Sri Lanka coast has moved Northwestwards and now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Tamil Nadu Coast, India). It is likely continue to move Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal(off North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh)coasts during next 12 hours and may reach to the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts on 23-10-2025.

PART TWO : Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “FENGSHEN” over South China Sea has moved West-Southwestwards and It is centered at about 140 Nautical miles Northeast of Da Nang (Vietnam).

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY : 4 nautical miles but 1 nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : North or Northeast 10-15 kts at times 20 kts.

SEAS : Moderate.

WAVE HEIGHT : 6-8 ft.

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 16.5°N –20.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER : Isolated rain or thundershowers.

VISIBILITY : 4 nautical miles but 1 nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND : East or Northeast 5-10 kts at times 15-20 kts.

SEAS : Slight to moderate.
