PART ONE : According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and intensified into a Severe Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA”. It is centered at about 610 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 180 Nautical miles Northeast of Chennai(India), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is centered at about within ½ degree of latitude 14.8°N and longitude 82.9°E.
PART TWO : Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
