PART ONE             : According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca has moved Westwards and intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 300 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 60 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  400 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is centered at about within ½ degree of latitude 5.1°N and longitude 98.1°E. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclone Storm and may cross Northern parts of Indonesia. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe pressure Area during next 12 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 36 hours.
