PART ONE : According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Tricomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 235 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and may cross eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the severe tropical storm “KOTO” over the South China Sea almost stationary and it is centered at about 370 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Hochiminh, Vietnam. It is likely to move Westwards slowly.
PART TWO : Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
