PART ONE          : According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved north­-northwestwards. It is centered at about within half degree of Latitude (9.5) degree North and Longitude (82.6) degree East. The depression is contuinous to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Deep Depression during next (9) hours. It is likely to reach coast of Sri Lanka till 5th March and then morning towards north Tamil Nadu Coast during next 48 hours.
