According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hrs.
