2-10-2026:Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and Deltaic Myanmar areas. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and South Bay, Westcentral Bay and Northwest Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 4.4 (M) with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (5) miles southeast of Kalewa), latitude 23.15°N, longitude 94.36°E, depth (77) kilometers, about (60) miles northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (23) hr (25) min (32) sec M.S.T on 2^ndOctober, 2026.
