(5-7-2026)According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha-West Bengal Coast (India) has intensified into a Depression. It is centered at about 375 Nautical miles North- Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 35 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Balasore and 45 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Digha, India. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may cross North Odisha(India)  between  Chandbali and Digha close to the Balasore during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is ‌a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
