24-8-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and North Odisha, India has reached over the North Coastal Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and the Northwest Bay of Bengal Still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and across North Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is storng over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bangel. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bangel.

12-8-2026 BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and off West Bengal, India - Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to become a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 12 hrs and move Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression and across West Bengal, India and adjoining Bangladesh coasts during next 36 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
