Flood Warning

(Issued at 17:00 hrs M.S.T on 26-8-2026)

According to the 16:30 hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Thaungyin River at Myawady is observed as about 1 foot 8 inches below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 1 day.

It is especially alert to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Myawady Township, to take precaution measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
