BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd March 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in  Chin, Northern Shan  States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region.  Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 22nd March 2026:      Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.
