BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 6thJune 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Earthern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
