PART ONE    : According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression  over Northwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a deep depression. It is        centered at about within half degree of Latitude (21.8)N and Longitude (87.9)E. It is forecast to move west Northwest wards  East- Northeast of Digha(India).towards and across West Bengal near Digha(India) by tonight.

PART TWO   : Monsoon is weak  over the Andaman Sea and South  Bay and moderate to strong  elsewhere over the  Bay of Bengal .

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 10.5°N – 16.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER    :     Widespread  rain or thundershowers

VISIBILITY   :       (4) nautical miles but less than (1) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND :  West or Southwest (10- 15)kts at times (  25-30)kts.

SEAS                 :  Moderate.

WAVE HEIGHT    :  (5-7) feet.     

FORECAST FOR AREAS BETWEEN LAT. 16.5°N – 20.5°N AND LONG. 92°E

WEATHER    :     Widespread  rain or thundershowers with isolated heavy falls .

VISIBILITY   :      (4) nautical miles but less than (1/2) nautical mile in rain.

SURFACE WIND :  South or Southwest (10- 15)kts at times ( 30)kts.

SEAS                 :    Rough.

WAVE HEIGHT    :  (8-10) feet.
