27-11-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca has moved East-Southeast and downgraded into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 380 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 120 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 150 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  495 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely continue to move Eastwards and weaken into a depression during next 12 hours. According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North-Northwest and intensified into a Deep Depression.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 370 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during next 12 hours. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and towards North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past

(24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and

Kayin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin and Shan

States, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions and

generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C)

above April average temperatures in Southern Shan, (3°C) to (4°C) above April

average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi

Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and about April average temperatures

in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C)

each in Naypyitaw (Tatkon), Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi and

Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.71) inch,

Minesat (0.16)inch and Putao and Myawady (0.12) inch each.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is generally fair in the East Central Bay of Bengal

and partly cloudy  in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th April, 2015: Rain or

thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Kachin state, isolated in Sagaing,

Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin,  Kayin and Mon States ,

partly cloudy in  Bago and Yangon Regions and weather will be generally fair

in  the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuation of likelihood of

isolated rain or thundershowers in the Northern Myanmar areas.
