SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been Partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and Kayah States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Magway Region, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Gwa (4.25)inches, Putao (4.21)inches, Paung (3.66) inches, Hkamti (2.95) inches, Theinzayet (2.60)inches, Kyeikkhame (2.40)inches, Madauk (2.32) inches, Bago (2.28)inches and Saw (1.86)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th September, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States.
