Mid Monsoon period 2016
Mid Monsoon is a period of starting from 1st July to the end of August.
Monsoon & Bay of Bengal Condition
Four Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and two may
further intensify into the Depressions. During the mid monsoon period,
monsoon is likely moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of
Bengal. One time monsoon Break may occur in Mid-Monsoon period.
Rain Condition
Rain or thundershowers will be expected above normal in Upper Sagaing
Region, Kachin and Northern Shan States and about normal in the remaining
Regions and States.
