27-7-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

During the Month of July 2016, the water levels of Ayeyarwaddy River may exceed one time each their respective town danger levels at Shwegu, Katha, Mandalay, Sagaing,Myinmu,Pakokku, Nyaung U, Hinthada and Zalun.

The water levels of Chindwin River may exceed one time each their respective town danger levels at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaung Pyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.

The water levels may exceed one time each their respective town danger levels at Hpaan of the Thanlwin River, at Bago of Bago River, at Ngathaingchaung of Ngawun River.
