 25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th September, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuous of thundery activities in the Deltaic Areas.
