4-9-2025::  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast has moved west-northwestwards over the North Odisha coast. It is likely continued to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India and gradually weakened during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Cyclonic Storm

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the deep depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved to Northwest wards and further intensified into a cyclonic strom “Nada” over Southwest Bay and adjoning Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (415)miles Southeast of Chennai (India), (395)miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and (245)miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee (Srilanka). It is forecast to move West-Northwest wards.

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the cyclonic storm is coded yellow stage.

          Cyclonic Storm is located at Latitude (8.2) degree North and Longitude (85.3) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (1001) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is about (40-45) miles per hour at (13:30) hrs MST today.
