Cyclonic Storm

According to the observations at (11:0) hrs MST today, the cyclonic storm “Nada” over Southwest Bay moved to West-Northwest wards. It is centered at about (180)miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India), (145)miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and (113)miles North-Northeast of Trincomalee (Srilanka). It is forecast to move West-Northwest wards.

It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the cyclonic storm is coded yellow stage.

          Cyclonic Storm is located at Latitude (10.4) degree North and Longitude (81.8) degree East, centre pressure of depression is (1002) hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is about (45) miles per hour at (11:00) hrs MST today.

Next (24)hrs Forecast   

It will be weaken gradually into a deep depression during next (24) hours and it is forecast likely to cross north Tamil Nadu coast in the morning of 2nd December, 2016.
