25-10-2025:According to the observations at 11:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and further intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 330 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 530 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 540 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression on 26-10-2025 and Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining over Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Thaninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair weather in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures was (3°C) below January average temperatures in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan , Kayin and Mon States and (5°C) above January average temperature in Kayah State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Putao, (5°C) each in Machanbaw, Thipaw, Kyaukmae, Mongyang and Moekok.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the South Bay and and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd January, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Thaninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon – Taninthayi Coasts. Surface winds speed in easterly winds may reach (35)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair weather in the whole country.
