30-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Coastal area of West Bengal, India is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards and continue across North Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand, India during next 2 days and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and generally fair weather in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) above January average temperature in Kayah State, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Southern and Easthern)Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Putao and (5°C) in Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th January, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair weather in the whole country.
