SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were about March average temperatures in the whole country. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Bawlakhae, (38°C) each in Naypyitaw (Yezin), Minbu, Taunggu, Shwegyin, Tharrawady, Nyaunglaybin, Phyu, Kyobinkauk, Hpa-an, Mawlamyine, Belin and Theinzayet.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th March, 2017: Rains or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainly is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions.
