The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about (1-1½) feet  at  Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha, and about (½-1) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and forecast to fall below the present water levels about (½) foot at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall below the present water levels about (½) foot at Hkamti, Homalin , Mawlaik, Kalewa and Monywa.
