It is likely to move Northwestwards and across West Bengal and adjoining areas of North Odisha and Jharkhand, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal . Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at 18:30 hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low
pressure area over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal still
persists. It is likely to move nearly Northwest during next 6 hrs. Thereafter,
it is likely to recurve North-Northeastwards and weaken gradually over central
Bay of Bengal during next 30 hrs. Due to the well marked low pressure area,
