It is centered at about 520 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Kyaukpyu (Myanmar), 70 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Visakhapatnam and 80 Nautical miles South of Gopalpur, India. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
