Bay of Bengal Condition
23-9-2026 According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved West wards. It is centered at about 520 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Kyaukpyu (Myanmar), 70 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Visakhapatnam and 80 Nautical miles South of Gopalpur, India. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
