SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T. During the past

(24) hours,likelihood of isolated light rain in Kachin State, weather has been partly

cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State and generally fair

in the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were (3°C) below February

average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Eastern Shan State and about

February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.The significant

night temperatures were (2°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (3°C) each in Pinlaung

and Loilin, (5°C) each in Hakha and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the South Bay and generally fair in the

Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th February, 2015: Likelihood of

isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, weather will be

partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and

generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough sea are

likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.Surface wind speed in

strong easterly wind may reach (30) m.p.h. Seas will be moderate

elsewhere in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain

in the extreme Northern Myanmar areas.
