PART ONE         : According to the observations at (18:00)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified in to the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR). It is centered at about within half degree of lat (11.2)°N and long (81.0)°E. It is forecast to move West-Northwestwards and cross near Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts around Karaikal and Mamallapuram (India) about today midnight.
