PART ONE          : According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean  moved west­northwestwards  has intensified into a depression.  It is centered at about within half degree of Latitude (5.6) degree North and Longitude (83.7) degree East. The depression is contuinous to move Northwestwards and may further intensify into a Deep Depression. It is likely to reach coast of Sri Lanka towards north Tamil Nadu Coast during next 48 hours.

PART TWO         : Weather is cloud to partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea.
