8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd OCTOBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in  Eastern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing , Mandalay  and Magway  Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South) and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and widespread in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Mon States with isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in along Myanmar Coasts.
